Who is Chris Fox?
Bio: Chris Fox is a 40 old graphic designer from Chesterfield, Derbyshire who now lives in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
A rock music lover (vinyl collecting is an obsession), biscuit connoisseur (Granola bars are a current favourite) and all round geek (The only good war is Star Wars).
Chris’ current 9 to 5 is as the Senior Graphic Designer for Crown Products Ltd who are a specialised supplier of high quality promotional pens and keyrings.
With over 20 years of experience as a graphic designer Chris has adapted to the many changes the creative industry has seen. From digital photography to social media and web design, Chris has learnt on the job the essential skills needed to best to communicate a client’s story and vision.

Spring & Autumn Fair
Chris also works for Wishes of Cudworth an independent greeting card and gift shop in Cudworth, Barnsley (South Yorkshire). As well as restocking the biscuits supplies (of which he has eaten) he also produces their point of sales (posters, leaflets, stickers), the shop’s website and social media.
With over 5,000 followers on Facebook and a nomination for a RETA award in the best retail initiative category, Wishes of Cudworth is recognised as a market leader in digital marketing.
Chris has presented seminars on “Social Media and Digital Marketing for Retailers” and ran “Meet the Expert Sessions” at both the Spring & Autumn Fair Home and Gift Shows a number of times.
Chris is the Chairman of community association Cudworth Businesses & Community Together, editor and lead writer for retail blog Gift Shop Hub and writes a monthly column for Greetings Today magazine.
He owns two rabbits and has a life-sized Ewok.
Chris is the Chairperson of community association Cudworth Businesses & Community Together (CBCT). The group’s mission statement is: “By working with the community we aspire to make Cudworth a better place to live, work and prosper”.
The group is made up of local businesses and residents. Brought together to participate in programs and events that create and enhance the feeling of community. To make improvements to Cudworth in a bid to entice more shoppers and visitors onto the village’s high street, to promote local clubs/groups and to most of all raise community spirit.
In 2018 CBCT helped raised money to buy new Christmas Lights for the village. Through fundraising, sponsorship packages, raffles, collection tubs, over £16,000 was raised. CBCT also put on a Christmas Fair and a retail/art trail the Cudworth Bunny Trail. Both gave the high street a significant boost and increased footfall for local businesses. Chris contributed not only to forming the community association but is responsible for building and maintaining the groups Visit Cudworth website, their Facebook Page, Cudworth Village News which has quickly grown to 2000 followers and designing promotional leaflets and posters.
Greetings Today Magazine
